Sample Hot, Popular ROVs in Seriously Fun Training Demo on Randall’s Island

Why:

Let’s be honest. How often do you get the opportunity to go out and just have fun like you did when you were younger and your time was your own? No responsibilities, no obligations, no worries. Just get away from it all and have some good, old-fashioned fun. If you’re like most of us in today’s over-scheduled society, the unfortunate answer to that question is, “Hardly ever.” Well, we want to fix that. We want to give you some carefree, outdoorsy fun, right here in downtown Manhattan.

What:

The Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (ROHVA) invites you to come out to Randall’s Island Park for a fun, exciting and extremely hands-on media event. We’ll teach you how to operate your very own Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle (ROV) as we launch the highly anticipated ROV Basic DriverCourse. We’ll provide the ROVs, the safety gear, the challenging-yet-fun riding course and the instruction, and all you have to do is show up and have a good time. Give yourself a break for once – you know you deserve it – and come out and have some fun with us!

When:

Sessions start at 9:30, 12:30 & 4:00

  • On Tuesday, May 15 or
  • On Wednesday, May 16
